Meet the Women's Center Staff

Director:

Jillian Ruddell is the Director of the Associated Students Women's Center. She is a sophomore at CSU, Chico majoring in Multicultural/Gender Studies. Jillian interned for two semesters last year while keeping up with studies and other clubs on campus. She is the Vice President of the Pride/Safezone club on campus. She coordinated the first LGBT Leadership Conference at CSUC along with helping in the development of other Pride related activities on campus.

Program Coordinators:

Angela Cordell is a senior at Chico State and a public relations major, minoring in women's studies. Angela works to promote the Women's Center events and activism with the hope of educating Chico State and the community about human rights issues.

Katie Seifert is beginning her 3rd semester with the Women's Center. Katie began her freshman year as an intern and has been a staff member for the past two semesters. "I love what we do here and I feel really lucky to be able to incorporate activism into my everyday life through the Women's Center."

Kimberly Edmonds is a program coordinator for the Associated Students Women's Center. This is her second year at CSU, Chico where she is majoring in International Relations. She first got involved at the Women's Center through an internship last year, while also becoming involved in CAVE and Pride Safe Zone.

Amanda Atkinson is beginning her third year at the AS Women's Center and (hopefully) her fourth and last year at Chico State before she graduates with a BA in Multicultural/Gender Studies (Women's Studies) with a minor in Sexual Diversity Studies. She is very proud and happy to be a working member of the AS Women's Center staff.
